Spectacular views, amazing food and beautiful lodging, what more can you ask for? My beau and I booked a trip to Ucluelet and Tofino knowing that November was going to be crazy with murals/culture crawl/Christmas prep.
These types of trips is where I can get an injection of inspiration, from recipe ideas to seeing local art and being out in a new place, they all recharge my creative pool.
While exploring the Pacific Rim trail will stumbled upon the famous lighthouse I drew for a doctor's conference mural! I was quite delighted to see it in person and snap a comparison of my colouring book style drawing.
We lucked out on booking the best restaurants including Pluvio and The Wolf and Fog and our fave bakery/cafe was Zoe's.
There was no storm watching to be had as it was sunny the entire time but we caught some stunning scenery and spent some down time after a very busy month.
