Beginner Wheel & Handbuilding Winter Session with Chu Chu

Live your “Ghost” moment and join this beginner wheel throwing class where you’ll learn great techniques to start making your own cups, bowls and more! There will be a focus on proper centering and wall building with pro tips for each individual’s progression. Trimming and glazing will follow in later classes.

There is also an option to join this class as a handbuilder without the wheel.  You will learn how to properly prep your clay to prevent cracking and warping, create strong joints and use a variety of methods to create tableware.

Price includes underglazes, dipping glazes and all kiln firings. 

*Each student must have a beginner pottery tool kit (available in Chu Chu shop for $15) and purchase clay.  Premium glazes may also be purchased at a later date.
