When my application went through for Create! Art Festival, I realized there had to be some serious thought into the logistics of mounting the mural without a wall!
Thankfully my boo LOVES helping me build things so we were able to come up with a design that captured the following criteria:
a) would not cost a million dollars and was budget friendly
b) sturdy enough that multiple people could colour at the same time
c) easy and quick to put together without any tools
d) would all fit into my compact SUV
e) light enough to carry
Although we spent nearly 4 hours at Home Depot trying to find all the parts and figuring out the logistics of the build, it turned out really well!
We may have gone a bit much with making it super sturdy but it should last a long time for future events.
