Support Family Affected by Lapu Lapu Festival Incident

We are adding a raffle and asking for donations for Josh Candy and his family that were affected by the Lapu Lapu Festival Incident at the Bowls & Bites event. These funds will help his family during his hospital stay while they are here from out of town.

Join us for a special evening where art and food come together! With your ticket purchase, you'll receive a handmade pottery bowl, generously crafted and donated by a local artist.

Enjoy a delicious catered meal provided by Ono Vancouver, fill your bowl, and mingle with fellow attendees in a warm and fun atmosphere.

All proceeds from ticket sales will support Serena's Senior Art Programming, helping to bring creative opportunities to seniors in our community.

Donate a Handmade Pottery Bowl!

Who? You! Or any potter you may know. Hobbyiest, student, professional, all are welcome to donate.

What? A handmade pottery bowl that can be wheel thrown or handbuilt. Recommended to use 1.5-2 lbs of clay. Seconds are also welcome as long as they are functional.

When? Deadline for donation is Wednesday May 7.

How? Please contact Serena at chinatown@chuchu.ca to schedule a drop-off.

Donations can be dropped off at Chu Chu Chinatown , West End Community Centre's Pottery Studio or West Point Grey Community Centre Pottery Studio.

Why? All proceeds to the ticketed event will go towards Serena's senior art programming.
